So what is a Responsive Website Design?
With more and more people accessing the Internet via a wide range of devices. Historically everyone used a desktop with a monitor and the biggest problem a web designer had was would the monitor be standard or a larger screen. But now with smart phones, iphones, ipads, kindles etc. the size of the screen and even the orientation of the screen can vary greatly depending on the device.
The problem is that the early mobile sites used to just shrink a full size webpage down into the size of the old mobile phone screen which made reading sites almost impossible. But now with responsive design you can change the size and layout of your website to make it more accessible and readable for users regardless of which device they use.
Google also considers a responsive site important and having a mobile friendly site will affect how your site ranks for searches made on mobile devices.
So have you looked at your website using a different device to the one you normally use? What does it look like? Is your site set up to look good, whatever sized device a potential customer is using?
