Basic Sites at Basic Prices.
Your website may be the first thing your potential client sees, so you want it to reflect your company, your approach and your personality. Whether you want your site to act as a brochure, to show the services you offer, or perhaps you want to sell a product online, the world of website creation may seem like something other people do. But if your competitor does it, then you need to too.
Pippas Web creates two main types of websites. There are benefits to both types of sites but depending on your requirements, one may appeal more to you.
HTML / CSS coded sites, HyperText Markup Language or (HTML) is computer code that is used to tell Internet browsers how to display websites, which can be seen by anyone connected to the Internet.
Flash-based software An alternative to this is the flash based site, the site is created visually rather than in pure code. Allowing for easier creation, editing etc. it is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) where pure html can be interpreted slightly differently by different browsers. These sites can be more interactive, making it easier than ever to include multimedia into websites, such as moving images, movies or audio files. It has previously been a concern that Flash-based sites are hard for search engines to read, as the "spiders" that crawl web sites don't understand their coding. However, the sites that I build in Flash also produce a html version behind the scenes that the spiders can read and therefore, the site can be listed correctly by the search engine.

The sites I design are usually for small businesses or sole traders, basically, people like you that want to advertise their business but are too busy or have no interest in how to set up the website. You can be involved as much or as little in the design process as you feel comfortable with.
