Pippa Haines

So I am Pippa and this is my company. I work from home in Newent, Gloucestershire. I’m married with two children.

In a previous life, I trained as a children’s nurse, which was amazingly rewarding, but also amazingly stressful. I decided I needed a big change. As a largely self-trained computer user I started working in more admin positions developing my skills over a period of time.

Having taught myself html code from an online course in 2000, I went on to design sites for friends and family on a variety of systems. I developed my web skills further, so started learning and developing CSS, Javascript and SEO skills. All of which I use in my website designs.

I launched Pippas Web at the end of 2009, offering my web design and developing SEO skills to small businesses, sole traders and therapists, or for those just starting up in business. For businesses that require a website, but where the business owner doesn’t know how, or simply doesn’t want to have the hassle of setting it up and maintaining it themselves.
